The register of deaths: There are a number of years where regrettably no entries were noted.

Confirmation records date from 1921.

The records up to 1893 are on disk and in printed form and can be researched at the presbytery.

A Parish Inventory Book has useful information concerning church property, schools and parish lands as well as some recent notable events.

Parish Cemeteries

Many Catholics were buried in the cemetery at Saint John's Church of Ireland, because of pressure on space. A new cemetery was acquired at Aughafin on the granard road. This cemetery was consecrated by Bishop Woodlock, Bishop of Ardagh in 1894.

The cemetery was originally in the name of the Granard Board of Euordians, the chairman was John Kenny, Lisanure.
A cemetery Committee was formed by the late Canon Martin with Patrick Quinn Senior and Dr. Yorke.

The Cemetery is now administered by Longford County Council and lands have been acquired for an extension.

A very ancient cemetery was discovered in recent years a Lisanure.

The Fr. Greene Charity

This consists of investments of the late Fr. John Greene, a native of Lisanure (in the parish) who bequeathed all his property in 1997 to the late Canon Martin upon trust so that the parish priest would pay the dividends to the Greene sisters for the rest of their lives, On their deaths, the funds to belong to the parish of Mostrim to be applied to charitable and parish needs.

These funds and investments are now managed by Davy's Stockbrokers with the interest being applied to pastoral needs.

Penal Cross & Chalice

There is a valuable Penal Cross dated 1793 and a chalice dated 1738 (presented by Lawrence Beirne) in the Presbytery.
